Seals at the UEFA Champions League 2012 Final
Arjen Robben ( born January 23, 1984 in Bedum, Groningen ) is a Dutch football player. Since 2009 he is under contract with FC Bayern Munich.
Career
Beginnings and Groningen
Robben started his career in the youth of his home club VV Bedum, but already changed the age of twelve to FC Groningen. On 3 December 2000, only 16 years, he played - with Substitutes in the 77th minute - in the Away encounter in Waalwijk his first game in the Eredivisie; followed by 17 more missions, in which he scored two goals. Robben was selected in the club in his first season player of the year. Together with Jordi Hoogstrate he demonstrated the strength of Groningen youth academy. The following season, he was first-team regular, scoring six goals in 28 games.
PSV Eindhoven
There the three big clubs Ajax Amsterdam, Feyenoord Rotterdam and PSV Eindhoven were aware of the " Super Talent " seals. Long time it seemed as if seals move to Ajax, but when his name was misspelled in the Contract Form, Robben's father decided that Ajax is not the right club for him. He signed with PSV Eindhoven in the summer of 2001, a contract from the 2002/03 season. He had several muscle injuries and came to a total of only 5 goals in 23 games.
Chelsea FC
Despite a long break due to injury early in the season 2004/ 05 Robben came on 23 October 2004 in the game against Blackburn Rovers on his debut for Chelsea when he came on in the 65th minute for the game Aleksei Smertin. This year Robben came then to 17 more appearances in the league and five games in the Champions League. With Chelsea in 2005 he was English champion. In the following season, this success could be repeated. On the way to renewed championship title shot seals in 28 games 6 goals. In the 2006/07 season he scored 2 goals in 21 league games. In the course of the season Real Madrid reported to be interested in signing of seals. In his three years in London Robben won all possible titles nationally.
Real Madrid
On 22 August 2007 Robben moved to Real Madrid, where he signed a five-year contract. His debut celebrated on September 18 in the Champions League match against Werder Bremen.
He quickly became an integral part of the team and won in the first year, the Spanish Cup and the Spanish Super Cup. In 21 league games, he scored four goals. The following season he remained, however Titellos; He scored seven goals in 29 games. For the 2009/10 season the players Cristiano Ronaldo and Kaká were committed and Robben thus suggested a change.
FC Bayern Munich
2009/10

2010/11

2012/13
At the beginning of the 2012/13 season Robben suffered multiple injuries, so he did not make it past the role of the complement player. National
On 30 April 2003, Robben gave his senior team debut in a 1-1 draw against Portugal under the former Bond coach Dick Advocaat. At the European Championships in 2004 he came to four inserts and displaced Marc Overmars from the starting eleven. He also scored the winning penalty against Sweden and ensured the Dutchmen the semi-finals, which they lost 1-2 against Portugal.
In the 2006 World Cup in Germany Robben was a player of the Dutch team for the three games he graduated as a regular player, scoring the winning goal in a 1-0 group stage match against Serbia / Montenegro.
