Arjun Rampal

Arjun Rampal (Hindi: अर्जुन रामपाल, Arjun Rampal, * November 26, 1972 ) is an Indian actor and model.

Life

He was discovered in a nightclub by fashion designer Rohit Bal and worked subsequently for several years as a model, before he starred in his first film Moksha, which was only published when Arjun had already shot two more films, in addition to including Pyaar Ishq Aur Mohabbat Sunil Shetty. His film Jadh where Arjun played alongside Smriti Mishra and at the Shantanu Sheorey directed, has not been published until now. In 2002 he won the Prize of the International Indian Film Academy as the " face of the year".

He has participated along with Shahrukh Khan, Saif Ali Khan, Preity Zinta, Rani Mukherjee and Priyanka Chopra at the Temptation 2004 concert, which was a great success worldwide. One of his most famous roles in the German-speaking world for his starring role in the film Dil Ka Rishta with Aishwarya Rai, which was also published in Germany.

Rampal is married with model More Jessia and the couple have two daughters, Mahikaa (* 2002) and Myra (* 2005) it bears the names of his daughters as a tattoo on his forearms.

In 2010 he was for his role in Rock On! awarded the National Award for Best Supporting Actor.

In addition to his career as an actor Arjun Rampal is also co-owner of the exclusive club LAP in Delhi, where he regularly hangs himself as a DJ.
