Arkaea

Arkaea is an Industrial Metal, Metalcore band, which consists of the Threat Signal band members Jon Howard and Pat Kavanagh, as well as the ex -Fear Factory - musicians Christian Olde Wolbers and Raymond Herrera.

Band History

In 2008, the former Fear Factory members Christian Olde Wolbers and Raymond Herrera founded the band Arkaea and started to record their first demo recording. These they sent shortly afterwards to Threat Signal vocalist Jon Howard, which they could then undertake as a permanent member. Looking for a bassist they met Sam Rivers and Ryan Martinie, but both ideas were rejected. After some time the band finally gave Pat Kavanagh, who is also active in Threat Signal, known as bassist.

Actually announced for March 2009, the band's debut album was released in July 2009 under the name of Years in the Darkness, which was distributed in Europe by Century Media in North America by E1 Music. The album was sold about a thousand times within the first week. In this, among other songs that were once planned for a new Fear Factory album, but were never released were.
