Arlay
Arlay is a commune with 737 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2011) in the Jura department in the Franche -Comté; it belongs to the district of Lons -le- Saunier and Canton Bletterans. The town is located 12 km north of Lons -le- Saunier.
History
Arlay was a Seigneurie that belonged to the line of the house of Chalon, who inherited the principality of Orange in the Middle Ages.
