Armand de Brignac

Armand de Brignac Champagne is a brand that is produced by the French in the Champagne Cattier family and sold in several countries since 2006.

Production

The champagne Armand de Brignac are made of as a prestige cuvees in of several vintages of base wines. The opaque metallic bottles are characteristic Zinnetiketten with an ace of spades logo.

Armand de Brignac offers three different prestige cuvees. The available since 2006 Brut Gold cuvée is made from the three leading varieties of Champagne Pinot Noir, Pinot Meunier and Chardonnay. Here grapes wines are exclusively used by the CIVC (Comité inter professionnelle des vins de Champagne) are classified as Premier Cru or Grand Cru. A classification which only 44 of the total of 319 wine-growing communities are allowed to wear in the Champagne region.

The other two cuvées, Armand de Brignac Rosé Armand de Brignac and Blanc de Blancs, are on the market since 2008.

Awards

In a study conducted by the journal Fine Champagne Magazine blind tasting, were evaluated in a total of 1,000 Champagne brands, Armand de Brignac Brut Gold was awarded in November 2009 the award as "the best champagne in the world ."

Culture

Armand de Brignac was the official champagne of the German Film Award in 2011 and 2012. Each winner received a bottle of Brut Gold.
