Armand Van Helden
Armand Van Helden ( born February 16, 1970 in Boston) is an American house DJ and producer.
Life
Armand Van Helden has a multinational ancestry: his father was Dutch Indonesian descent, his mother is French and Lebanese descent. Since his father in the U.S. Air Force, was Van Helden went as a child around the world and spent a lot of time in the Netherlands, Turkey and Italy. At the age of 13, he bought a drum machine and two years later he made his first steps as a DJ.
In 1988 he returned to Boston and joined a sideline in various clubs. After three years, he devoted himself completely to music. As a remixer, he had a job in the loft, a leading Boston Club.
