Armando Picchi

Armando Picchi ( born June 20, 1935 in Livorno ( LI), † May 26 1971 in San Remo (IM) ) was an Italian football player and coach.

Career

Picchi began at AS Livorno on the position of Libero. He then joined the club SPAL, with whom he made ​​his debut in Serie A. After two years he came to Inter Milan coach Helenio Herrera and was director of defense and team captain. He won with Inter, three Italian league titles, two European Cup of Champions and two World Cups. His last club as a player was the Varese FC.

On November 4, 1964 Picchi his debut in the game against Finland Italy in the Italian national team and clocked up twelve internationals.
