Armenia Davis Cup team
The Armenian Davis Cup team is the national team of Armenia tennis, which represents the country in the Davis Cup. It is organized by the Armenian Tennis Association.
History
Armenia takes part in the Davis Cup since 1996. Until 1991, competed Armenian tennis player for the Soviet Union. The biggest success the team had in 2001 with the achievement of Group 2 of Europa-/Afrikazone. 2009 reached the Armenian selection number 4 in Group 4 of the Europa-/Afrikazone and 2011 in group 3 5th place
The most successful player is Harutjun Sofjan, who played 67 matches and won 36 of them.
