Armin Eck

Armin Eck ( born December 8, 1964 in Kulmbach ) is a German football coach and a former football player.

Career

Player

The midfielder began his football career with TSV 08 Kulmbach. After a few years in the amateurs Spvgg Bayreuth he was inducted in 1982 in the cadre of Bavaria league team. From 1985 he played in the 2nd Bundesliga with SpVgg Bayreuth. There he played in the season 34 games and scored seven goals. In the following season Eck moved to FC Bayern München in the First Bundesliga. In the following two seasons, he scored two goals and completed 39 Bundesliga games. In addition, Armin Eck collected in these two years European Cup experience and played in such famous stages such as the Stadio San Paolo in Naples, Stadio San Siro in Milan or the Estadio Santiago Bernabéu in Madrid. He also won the German championship with Bayern in 1989. During the same year joined the corner for the next five years for Hamburger SV. For the club, he completed 129 Bundesliga games and 19 goals. In the European Cup, he traveled with the HSV among other things, the Stadio Olimpico in Turin. Surprisingly, he moved to season 1994/95, together with his team-mate Thomas von Heesen and Jörg Bode and the Stuttgart Fritz Walter of the 1st Bundesliga in the Regionalliga West / Southwest at Arminia Bielefeld. He ended his active career in 2000 at the SpVgg Bayreuth in the Bavarian Oberliga. There he was supposed to work as player-coach, but tore himself in a cup match at the district level again cruciate ligament. Because disability he could then pass no play. He played again in 2004 when SV Hutschdorf, where his father was coach Rudi.

Coach

As a coach he worked until 2003 for SpVgg Bayreuth. He then coached the SV Friesen, where he parked his players pass, but without being active there. He also works as a talent scout for Hamburger SV and as an honorary coach in the DFB talent promotion. He also supported the right -fit campaign of the DFB. It also has its own football school. Since October 2006, Eck worked as coach of Bayern division club SpVgg Bayern Hof. He was released on 14 September 2007 because of the bad situation in the table of the association. Since September 2009, Eck coached the district Oberliga BSC Bayreuth -Saas. On April 28, 2012 his charges were able to record a 6-1 victory in the match against TSV Thiersheim and thus make the early national league rise perfectly.
