Armored car (military)
As armored cars were originally armored cars, called the precursor of military tanks.
Today this term is used for both military and civilian armored vehicles. Because there is no precise definition, the use of the term is not unique. Armored cars are referred to rather than special-protection vehicle vehicles serving the German police as special vehicles and military vehicles and armored cars, armored personnel carriers and armored personnel carriers.
