Armstrong World Industries

Armstrong World Industries is a global manufacturer of floor coverings. Headquarters of the Group is the U.S. Lancaster. The company, founded in 1860 had approximately 12,700 employees worldwide in 2007 and revenues of $ 3.5 billion.

Under the brand DLW Armstrong sells in Europe elastic and textile coverings such as linoleum, vinyl, ceramic tile, and needlepunch, which are mainly designed for industrial and commercial buildings. Armstrong specializes in floor coverings in the health and education systems, shop fitting, but also in housing and office buildings. Other products include ceiling systems and fitted wardrobes.

The European activities of the company are managed by the Armstrong DLW GmbH in Bietigheim -Bissingen and are, along with the various works of Armstrong in Europe and the DLW brand, grouped under the umbrella brand of Armstrong Floor Products Europe. Armstrong is represented by its own customer service offices throughout Europe.
