Army Training Schools

The schools of the Army, in addition to the centers of the army, the training facilities of the Army of the German Bundeswehr.

History

As part of the reorientation of the Bundeswehr, the schools of the Army 1 July 2013 were placed under army from the Army Office of the Training Command.

Line

The schools are the training command subordinate army since 1 July 2013. Most of the army, schools are responsible for the development of a particular branch of service. The commander of these schools is then usually at the same time General of Artillery, Infantry General, General of Panzer troops, etc. This service position but can be dressed by a colonel, contrary to the name also, but usually this is an officer in the rank of brigadier general.

Organization

In particular, there are the following educational institutions:

  • Artillery School, Idar -Oberstein   Sergeant / Sergeant contender Battalion 1, Sondershausen
  • Sergeant / Sergeant contender Battalion 3, Old Town

The cadets do their job in two cadet battalions, which are affiliated to the Infantry School mutton castle and to the training center Munster.

Former schools of the Army

The following schools are resolved, incorporated other educational institutions or are no longer the army assumed (selection):

  • ABC and self-protection school, Sonthofen ( Since 2013 Streitkräftebasis / NBC defense Command of the German Armed Forces )
  • University of Applied Sciences of the Army 1
  • University of Applied Sciences of the Army 2
  • Technical School of the Army for education and business
  • By 2006, the Signal School and Technical College of Electrical Engineering of the army was training up the remote detector. "Successor" is the lead support der Bundeswehr and College of the Bundeswehr for Information Technology, which is under the Joint Support
  • Army Air Defence School in 2007 dissolved and replaced by army training center air defense troops ( dissolved 2012).
