Army United F.C.

Royal Thai Army FC is a football club based in the Thai capital Bangkok. The FC Royal Thai Army is a military sports club of the Thai Armed Forces and plays in the Thai Premier League. Play their home games, the club of the Thai Army Sports Stadium. The greatest success of the club was winning the championship in 1983

Club history

The Royal Thai Army FC in 1996 was a founding member of the Thai Premier League. Most of the club was to be found in the lower regions of the table again. As Tabellenelfter you had 1999 in the play-offs. There they met the FC Royal Thai Navy. The Navy was able to win the play-offs for themselves and the Army got off the first time. It took 6 years before the Army was able to rise into the elite league again. As a master of Thailand Division 1 League, the club rose to directly. This was followed with a sixth and a fifth place, two solid placings in the league. All the more surprising the 15th place in the table was to end the 2008 season, which had the renewed destitution. However, it needed to create only one season to the direct re-emergence. The second of the Thai Premier League Division 1 could qualify for the Thai Premier League 2010. In the 2010 season, the club goes with a team without big stars. Mongkol Tossakrai, is by all players still best known. In addition, management of the association, to want to commit no foreign players decided.
