Arnaldo Edi Lopes da Silva

Arnaldo Edi Lopes da Silva, nicknamed Edinho (born 7 July 1982 Aveiro) is a Portuguese football player.

Career

Association

Edinho began with the association football 1997 in the junior department of the AC Almada. Two years later, he belonged to the senior squad, for whom he played until the summer of 2002. He then moved to FC Barreirense, before another year later moved on to SC Braga. After he had been one and a half seasons active for the reserve team, he began increasingly aground for the first team and was eventually incorporated in full in this team. For summer 2007 Edinho moved to Vitória Setúbal and played only the first round before he was loaned out for the second round of the Greek club AEK Athens. Edinho graduated in 2004 three caps for the Portuguese U-21 national team. In 2009, he began to be used for the Portuguese national team.
