Arnfels (Slovenian Arnez ) is a market town with 1086 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2013 ) in the judicial district or the district of Leibnitz in southern Styria. It is located on Pößnitzbach and near the border with Slovenia.

History

The area around Arnfels was known to the Romans as Arupium. She was in the 11th century belonged to the Spannheimer.
