Arnfinn Bergmann

Arnfinn Bergmann ( born October 14, 1928 in Trondheim, † 13 February 2011) was a Norwegian ski jumper and footballer.

In the 1947/1948 season, he was awarded the Freidig FK Norwegian football champions. In the same year he also became Norwegian junior champion in ski jumping, so he focused his career in the wake of the winter sports.

In the Nordic World Ski Championships 1950 in Lake Placid, he won the bronze medal at the Olympic Winter Games in 1952 in the domestic Oslo Holmenkollen ski jump gold medal. Since the Nordic World Ski Championships was held at the Olympic Games, he was with his Olympic title at the same time world champion.

1953/54, he took part in the Four Hills Tournament. He reached the 21 in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, the fourth, the third in Innsbruck and in Bischofshofen second place in Oberstdorf. In the years 1952, 1953 and 1958, he became Norwegian champion. 1956 Bergmann received the Holmenkollen medal, three years later, he finished his career.

Arnfinn Bergmann died on 13 February 2011 after a short illness.
