Arnis at the 2005 Southeast Asian Games

The Arnis Tournament of 23 Southeast Asia Games 2005 took place between 1st to 4th December of the same year in the Emilio Aguinaldo college in Ermita, Manila. There are also the Wushu tournament was held. For the first time since 1991 Arnis was again carried out in the South East Asia Games as a discipline. In this discipline, East Timor won a medal for the first time in an international competition.

Six gold medals were awarded to participants in the full-contact tournament for men and women.
