Arnold Bruggink
Arnold Bruggink January [ ɑɾnɔlt jɑn bɾʏχɪŋk ] ( born July 24, 1977 in Almelo ) is a former Dutch football player.
Club career
In the Netherlands and in Spain
He began his career in the Netherlands Stevo Geesteren, for which he played from 1983 to 1991. From 1991 to 1997 he played for FC Twente Enschede. He then moved to PSV Eindhoven for whom he played from 1997 to 2003. After a one year stint in the Spanish Primera División at RCD Mallorca in the 2003/04 season, in which he succeeded in 26 games seven goals, he returned to the Netherlands and played from 2004 to 2006 for two seasons for the SC Heerenveen. Overall, he scored in the Dutch Eredivisie in 303 games 100 goals.
In Hannover 96
In the summer of 2006 Bruggink joined free transfer to Hannover 96 in the Bundesliga. He signed a contract with Hannover until 2009. In Hanover, he has been referred after initial difficulties and a weak first round as faulty shopping, but he played better in the second half and scored 6 goals this season. He thus fulfilled the expectations of those responsible for Hannover 96 and was a regular player. In the 2007 /08 season he lost his place by a weak first round, but struggled with good performances and again six goals this season back in the starting lineup. In the first round of 2008/ 09 Bruggink again showed poor performance, which cost him together with a red card and minor injuries for the umpteenth time his place. He made Hanover in the second half with 4 goals and 12 assists but great service, so that it became again an important part of the team. Was in the course of the first round in 2009/10 Arnold Bruggink (as successor to the late Robert Enke ), the team captain of Hannover 96 Round At 34th and thus the last of the season 2009/10 Bruggink graduated in previously titled " Final Descent " at VfL Bochum, is one of its strongest games in the jersey of Hannover 96 's 3-0 victory, he scored the intermediate 1-0 and here was the strongest player on the court. With this victory could Hannover 96 celebrate the Bundesliga whereabouts. The VfL Bochum, however, rose from the 2nd Bundesliga. After his contract expires Arnold Bruggink left the club at end of season 2009/10.
At the beginning of the 2010/11 season Bruggink remained vertragslos and held initially from August 2010 at his former employer PSV Eindhoven fit. In October 2010, he returned to FC Twente Enschede after. After his view overall rather disappointing year - six times it was used in the Eredivisie, this was an insert in the KNVB Cup - Bruggink decided to end his active career as a professional footballer at the end of the season when his contract expires.
National
Arnold Bruggink with 31 appearances for the Dutch U21 national record - Under-21 international and topped with 15 goals 2nd place (shared with Roy Makaay and behind Klaas -Jan Huntelaar ) the goalscorers list of selection team. For the Dutch national team Bruggink completed two internationals.
