History
In 1989, the Arnold Classic celebrated its premiere. Organizers of this event were Arnold Schwarzenegger and James J. Lorimer, which the Mr. Olympia lined up since the mid- seventies. Since the first year of this competition, a comparison of the world's best female bodybuilders were performed in addition to the men's competition.
