Arnon Grunberg

Arnon Grunberg ( officially: Arnon Yasha Yves Grunberg ) in Germany better known as the Arnon Grünberg ( born February 22, 1971 in Amsterdam ) is a Dutch author who published some of his books under the pseudonym Marek van der Jagt. His works have been translated into twenty languages ​​. Since 1995 he lives in New York and writes since March 29, 2010, the daily column Voetnoot ( footnote ) on the front page of the Volkskrant.

Life

Green 's father fled in 1933 from Berlin and survived as well as Grünberg's mother as one of the few family the racist persecution by the German Nazis. Arnon Grunberg first attended the Amsterdam Montessori School and from 1982 to 1988, the Vossius Gymnasium in Amsterdam.
