Aron Schvartzman

Aaron Schwartzman (also Aron Schvartzman, Aarón Schvartzman, * December 9, 1908, † 15 January 2013) was an Argentine chess player.

Schwartzman won in Mar del Plata 1934, the fourth championship of South America, bringing in the sixth championship of South America in Mar del Plata in 1936 behind Isaias Pléci second place.

In Argentine championships Schwartzman reached in 1933, 1935 and 1936 respectively the third place, in 1937, he finished fourth.

On 20 October 2009 Schwartzman played at the Club Argentino de Ajedrez the occasion of his centenary, a " batch of 200 years " against the one and a half years younger Francisco Benkö, the draw ended.
