Arosa SC

The Arosa SC is a Spanish football club from the Galician town Vilagarcía de Arousa, south of the pilgrimage city of Santiago de Compostela. The club was founded in 1945 playing in the 2007/ 08 season in the Tercera División, Group I.

History

In its 60 -year history of the Arosa Sociedad Cultural played almost exclusively in the Tercera División, which was initially third division, later after the introduction of the Segunda División B as the fourth league acted. The greatest success of the Galician Association founded in 1945 was the participation in the Segunda División in the 1949/50 season. After only one year, the club had the aisle in the Tercera División compete, since you graduated to rank 31 as Penultimate. Even today play the Galicians still in the Tercera División, however, were never able to build on the initial successes.

Arosa plays at the Estadio A Lomba, which has a capacity of 5,000 spectators.
