Arrhenius (lunar crater)

Arrhenius is an impact crater on the southwestern edge of the far side of Earth's moon. Due to its location its surroundings can be observed in favorable librations. South -southeast of Arrhenius is the Blanchard crater, west of De Roy crater.

The rim of Arrhenius is eroded by minor impacts and thus low and rounded. In the north- northwestern edge is a notch and on the southeast side of the bulge. The crater interior is relatively flat and it lacks a central peak.
