Arron Asham

Arron Asham ( born April 13, 1978 in Portage la Prairie, Manitoba ) is a Canadian professional ice hockey player who is since July 2012 with the New York Rangers in the National Hockey League contract. Since October 2013, he plays for their farm team, the Hartford Wolf Pack in the AHL.

Career

During the NHL Entry Draft Arron Asham in 1996 was selected as up to 71 players from the Montreal Canadiens. At this time he was a player the Red Deer Rebels of the Western Hockey League, for whom he was four years active from 1994 to 1998.

Towards the end of the 1997/98 season Asham gave for the former farm team of Montreal, the Fredericton Canadiens of the American Hockey League, made his debut in professional hockey.
