Arrondissement of Aalst

The Arrondissement of Aalst is one of six administrative arrondissements in the Belgian province of East Flanders. It covers an area of 468.92 km ² with 278,667 inhabitants (as of 1 January 2012) in ten municipalities.

The two municipalities of Sint-Lievens -Houtem and Zottegem belong to the judicial district Arrondissement Oudenaarde, the other for the judicial district Arrondissement of Dendermonde.
