Arrondissement of Bayeux

The arrondissement Bayeux is an administrative district in the department of Calvados in the French region of Lower Normandy.

History

On 4 March 1790, " District Bayeux " founded with the establishment of the department of Calvados, a, who agreed essentially with the present arrondissement. The district was the founding of the arrondissement on February 17, 1800 to the arrondissement of Bayeux.

Geography

The district is bordered to the north by the English Channel, on the east by the arrondissement of Caen, in the south of the arrondissement Vire and to the west the district of Saint- Lô in the department of Manche.

  • Caumont- l'Éventé
  • Isigny -sur -Mer
  • Ryes
  • Trévières
