Arrondissement of Torcy

The Arrondissement Torcy is an administrative unit of the French Department of Seine- et- Marne in the Île- de -France region. Capital ( seat of the Prefecture) is Torcy.

History

The Arrondissement Torcy was established on 26 February 1993 in order to meet the population growth in the region. The sub-prefecture was initially in Noisiel and was moved to Torcy on 30 April 1994.
