Arsala Jamal

Arsala Jamal ( Pashtun ارسلا جمال; * 1966 in Paktika, † October 15, 2013 in Pul-i - Alam, Lugar ) was an Afghan politician and provincial governor.

Life

Jamal went to Kabul and Peshawar in Pakistan to school. He studied in Malaysia.

He later moved with his family to Canada. After the invasion of U.S. troops and the fall of the Taliban regime, he returned to Afghanistan. Jamal has now worked for various international organizations, such as Care International. In addition, he was made governor of the province of Khost and served as Acting Minister for Tribal Affairs.
