Arsi-Zone

The Arsi Zone in Ethiopia is a zone in the region of Oromiya Region, one of 12 regions.

The zone covers an area of ​​23,724.44 square kilometers, has in the southwest and south of all national borders, in the north is the Afar State, in the east is the state of Somalia. The Arsi zone has a population of about 3,135,686, of which 1,557,984 are male and 1,577,702 people are female, 12.3 % of the population live in urban areas, the population density of 132.17 persons per km ².
