Art Larsen

Arthur David Art Larsen ( born April 17, 1925 in Hayward, California, † December 7, 2012 in California ) was an American tennis player.

At his greatest success, winning the American Tennis Championships in 1950, later called the U.S. Open in Forest Hills he beat Herbert Flam in five sets. In the years 1951 and 1952 he also won with the U.S. team to Davis Cup.
