Art Metrano
Art Metrano ( born September 22, 1936 in Brooklyn, New York City, New York ) is an American actor. Particularly well known he was through his role of Captain Mauser in the films Police Academy 2 and Police Academy 3 is known Metrano through his blend of magic and comedy, which he enjoyed great success since the early 1970s.
Life
In the early 1970s he starred in The Tonight Show from Jay Leno and showed there absurd magic tricks. In the 1980s he played with in two parts of the Police Academy film series, in which he played the character of evil to partially sadistic police trainer Lieutenant, Captain and Commandant Mauser. 1989 Metrano crashed hard in his house and has since become a paraplegic. Meanwhile kind Metrano can move with crutches on her own.
