Arta Dobroshi

Arta Dobroshi ( born October 2, 1979 in Pristina ) is a native of Kosovo Albanian theater and film actress. A wide audience, she was known by the title role in the award- winning feature film Lorna's Silence (2008) by Jean -Pierre and Luc Dardenne.

Biography

Arta Dobroshi, daughter of two intellectuals, was born in 1979 in Pristina, where she grew up also. As a child fascinated by the painting and the theater, she witnessed the Balkan Wars before it was sent at the age of 15 years from their parents for several months into the U.S. Albany, New York.
