Artemis Gounaki

Gounaki Artemis (Greek Άρτεμις Γουνάκη; born April 7, 1967 in Munich) is a German artist of Greek origin, which is active in various fields of music production. Larger notoriety she gained through her ​​work as a vocal coach on TV.

Life and work

Gounaki Artemis is the daughter of Greek immigrants and first started studying the history of art, music and theater sciences and philosophy in Munich. This she broke off without conclusion and brought together with Marco Minnemann ( and Others 1998-1999 drummer of H -Blockx, since 2007 the drummer of Necrophagist ) from 1994 in several albums under the name of Illegal Aliens on the market. She later coached rock bands such as H-Blockx as a vocal expert and accompanied the band Guano Apes on World Tour as Vocal Coach.

Since then Gounaki is active both as a singer, lyricist and composer, as well as a vocal coach, arranger and producer as well as an author in the field of singing. She also worked since 2001 as a vocal coach at several talent shows by different television channels with.

First seen on television in 2001 as she was vocal trainer in the 2nd season of the talent show "Popstars " the TV station ProSieben. Since early 2003 Gounaki was also vocal coach of the Greek edition of " Popstars" radio station Mega TV. 2003/2004 she was a jury member in the Greek Show " Euro Stars" of the television channel NET, where you found the Greek Sakis Rouvas participants for the Euro Vision Song Contest 2004.
