Arthur Blenkinsop

Arthur Blenkinsop ( born June 23, 1911 in Newcastle upon Tyne, † September 23, 1979 ) was an English Labour politician and member of the British Parliament.

Blenkinsop sat from 1945 for Newcastle upon Tyne East in Parliament. 1946-1949 Parliamentary Secretary for the Ministry of Pensions and 1949-1951 for the Ministry of Health. 1959-1964 city councilor in Newcastle. 1964-1979 for South Shields in Parliament.
