Arthur Nash (ice hockey)

Arthur Lawrence Nash ( born September 5, 1914 in Thunder Bay, Ontario; † January 2000 ) was a Canadian professional ice hockey goaltender.

Career

Arthur Nash began his career as a hockey player with the Port Arthur Bearcats, represented with whom he Canada at the Olympic Winter Games in 1936. Subsequently, the goalkeeper moved to the Wembley Monarchs, for which he stood from 1936 to 1938 in the English National League between the posts. Upon his return to Canada he played among others in the season 1941/42, for the Kimberley dynamiters from the Alberta - British Columbia Senior Hockey League.

Internationally

For Canada, Nash took part in the 1936 Winter Olympics in Garmisch -Partenkirchen, where he won the silver medal with his team.
