Arto Bryggare

Arto Kalervo Bryggare ( born May 26, 1958 in Kouvola ) is a former Finnish athlete and Olympian.

General

Arto Bryggare was a decade of the best 110-meter hurdlers in Europe. He was Finnish champion in his specialist distance of 1977-1987 and again in 1992. His greatest achievement was the silver medal in 1983 in 13.46 seconds at the World Championships at home in Helsinki. From 1995 to 1999 and 2003 to 2007 Arto Bryggare was a member of the Finnish Parliament for the Finnish Social Democratic Party.
