Artur Sobiech

Artur Sobiech ( born June 12, 1990 in Ruda Śląska ) is a Polish footballer. His nickname is " Abdul " or " worm ".

Youth
Artur Sobiech began playing football in his home town of Grunwald Ruda Śląska. In 2006 he joined at the age of 16 years in the youth department of Ruch Chorzów. Here he played in the 2007/ 08 season in the Ekstraklasa Młoda, which is comparable to the German U -23 team. In 26 games he scored 16 goals and changed in the following season in the first team.
Ruch Chorzów
In two seasons at Ruch Chorzów graduated Sobiech 47 games and scored 12 goals. Ten of them in the season 2009/10. His debut in the top Polish league gave the striker on 10 August 2008 at the away game against Gornik Zabrze. This Ruch coach Dušan Radolský Sobich him moved into the 90th minute for Marcin Zając. Hannover 96
For the 2011/12 season Sobiech moved to German Bundesliga Hannover 96, for which he (6th Round ) debuted on 18 September 2011 in a 2-1 victory at home to Borussia Dortmund Substitutes in 83 minutes for Jan Schlaudraff - and was referenced in injury time for gross tackle with a red card of the field. This is the fastest direct dismissal of a debutant in Bundesliga history. His first goal for Hannover 96, he scored 15 December 2011 in the last match of the UEFA Europa League group stage against Vorskla Poltava. His first Bundesliga goal he scored on 11 February 2012 against 1 FSV Mainz 05 A few days later, on 16 February, he gave 96 in the first leg of the UEFA Europa League second round in a good position: In the home match against FC he resembled Bruges the previous residue by his goal to 1:1, and then won the penalty that led to the winning goal by Schlaudraff.
National
