Arturo Fajardo

Arturo Eduardo Fajardo Bustamante ( born July 17, 1961 in Aiguá, Uruguay ) is a Uruguayan, a Roman Catholic bishop.

He received his ordination to the priesthood by Pope John Paul II on May 8, 1988. On 27 June 2007 he was appointed Bishop of San José de Mayo, and received on 8 September of the same year the bishop consecration by Janusz Bolonek. Since May 2009, he is also Secretary General of the Episcopal Conference of Uruguay.
