The Arve in Annemasse, Haute -Savoie

The Arve is a river in the western Alps. It originates in France, at the top near the Col de Balme Chamonixtal and ends in Switzerland, in Geneva, as a left tributary of the Rhône. The total length of the river is about 116 km, of which about 8.5 km in Switzerland. She has a mean discharge of 75 m³ / s and a catchment area of 2,060 km ².
