Arvid Thörn

Arvid Thörn ( born February 13, 1911 in Grängesberg; † ) is a former Swedish national football team.

Thörn played in the 1930s, first for his hometown club IFK Grängesberg, before he moved to Örebro SK.

National

Thörn was a Swedish national team. Making its debut in 1930, he played only viertklassig, overall he played twice for the national selection. In his debut match on July 18 1930 Sweden won against Estonia 5-1. Even before the mid-term hit Thörn for interim 3:1 Four days later, he played his last international game already in the 5-0 away win against Latvia. Four years later he was part of the squad at the World Cup 1934, came during the tournament but not used.
