AS Pirae

The AS Pirae is the most successful Tahitian football club from Pirae and plays in the top division, the Tahiti Division Fédérale. The club was until 2012 the only team from French Polynesia that has ever reached the final of the OFC Champions League, this success was set in 2012 by AS Tefana Faa'a. The finals, the Association celebrated in 2006, where he was inferior to the New Zealand club Auckland City FC 1:3.

AS Pirae was seven Tahitian champions and Cup winners six times of their own country.
