Asada (crater)

Asada is a small impact crater on the northern edge of Mare Fecunditatis, northeast of the crater Taruntius and in a direct line north of Anville.

Asada is bowl- shaped and has a small central crater bottom.

Before he received in 1976 by the International Astronomical Union ( IAU) his own name he was referred to as ' Taruntius A'.
