Ascari KZ1

The Ascari KZ1 is a sports car model of the British small series manufacturer Ascari Cars.

The car is limited to 50 pieces. KZ1 is powered by a V8 engine from the old BMW M5 with 4941 cc capacity. This engine has been optimized for performance and provides instead 294 kW (400 hp) now at most 373 kW (507 hp). By body and monocoque chassis in carbon fiber construction weighs only 1330 kg of Ascari KZ1.

Because of the power to weight ratio, the performance figures are impressive. The engine accelerates the car from a standstill in 3.7 seconds to 100 km / h; this value is for example comparable to the Zonda. The top speed is specified with 320 km / h.
