Roundworms ( Ascaridida ) are an order of nematodes. Their representatives are parasitic in the intestines of vertebrates and have a spindle-shaped body with a length of up to 50 cm. The mouth has three papillentragende lips. The esophagus is cylindrical or club-shaped and can have attachments. The intestine has in some taxa in the initial region also attachments. Kaudalflügel are not trained or at most indicated.
