ASCII Media Works

ASCII Media Works (Japaneseアスキー·メディア ワークスAsuki Media Wākusu ) is an imprint for books, manga, video games and magazines of the Japanese publisher Kadokawa.

History

The Company K. K. ASCII Media Works (株式会社 アスキー·メディア ワークスKabushiki - gaisha Asuki Media Wākusu, english ASCII Media Works, Inc.) was established on 1 April 2008 from the merger of subculture publishing Media Works with the IT -Verlag ASCII. President of the company was Kiyoshi Takano, who has previously directed ASCII.

2013, the parent company Kadokawa Group Holdings was renamed Kadokawa and on October 1, 2013, the eight publishers of the group, including ASCII Media Works, dissolved as an independent company and as markers ( imprints ) of Kadokawa continued.

Program

The publisher sells, among other things, a number of magazines and books under the name Dengeki (电 撃), the manga magazine Dengeki Daioh, the game magazine Dengeki G 's Magazine and Dengeki Bunko imprint of.
