Asea, Greece

Asea (Greek Ασέα ( f sg ) ) is a village in the highlands of Arcadia in the Peloponnese in Greece with only 167 permanent residents.

The village of Asea, to run the village Kato Asea part (56 inhabitants), up to 2010 was the administrative seat of the municipality with 1,842 inhabitants Valtetsi. 2011 Asea was amalgamated with this to Tripoli.

Kato Asea is the birthplace of the Greek poet Nikos Gatsos.
