Ashikaga Yoshikazu

Ashikaga Yoshikazu (Japanese足 利 义 量; * August 27, 1407, † March 17, 1425 ) was the fifth shogun of the Ashikaga shogunate who reigned in the Muromachi period of Japan from 1423 to 1425.

Yoshikazu was the son of the fourth shogun, Ashikaga Yoshimochi.

Following the resignation of his father Yoshikazu Seii Taishogun was, but died two years later. His father still living did not name a new successor to the shogunate, and died some time after itself, the sixth shogun Ashikaga Yoshinori Yoshikazus uncle, in 1429 chosen by lot.
