Ashikaga Yoshizumi

Ashikaga Yoshizumi (Japanese足 利 义 澄; * January 15, 1478, † September 6, 1511 ) was the 11th shogun of the Ashikaga shogunate. He reigned from 1493 to 1508 in the Muromachi period of Japan. He was the son of Ashikaga Masatomo and grandson of the sixth shogun Ashikaga Yoshinori.

He was adopted by the eighth shogun, Ashikaga Yoshimasa and later used by Hosokawa Masamoto as Seii Taishogun in office, but deprived of the 10th shogun, Ashikaga Yoshitane, 1508 his title, which was then the second time Shogun.

His son, Ashikaga Yoshiharu was the 12th shogun.
