Ashleigh Barty

Ashleigh Barty ( born April 24, 1996, Ipswich, Queensland ) is an Australian tennis player.

Career

Already in her second ITF tournament in Mount Gambier in October 2010 Barty succeeded the semi-finals. In 2011 she won the junior competition at Wimbledon. In the same season they also reached the semifinals of the U.S. Open in the Junior Women. In December, they still earned a wild card for the upcoming Australian Open.

Early 2012 failed Barty at the WTA tournament in Brisbane in the qualifying clearly with 1:6, 2:6 to Vania King.
