Ashley Harkleroad

Ashley Harkleroad ( born May 2, 1985 in Rossville, Georgia ) is a former American tennis player.

Life and career

Harkleroad, which began at the age of four years playing tennis and favorite place to play on hard courts, was in June 2000 elite player.

Her first title at ITF tournament she won on July 7, 2002, seven other individual titles were added. She also won five doubles tournaments on the ITF Women's Circuit. Her breakthrough came in 2003 in Charleston, when she was able to beat three top -20 players. In 2007, she played for the U.S. team at the Hopman Cup.

When WTA Indian Wells tournament in 2010 she gave her comeback, but she lost her first round match against Alicia Molik with 1:6 and 1:6. Her last professional match they played in August 2010 at the WTA tournament in Cincinnati, where she failed in the qualifying round.
